Why two hubs? California is about 800 miles long. Running every job from one depot would mean long empty miles and late pickups. With the SFO Hub serving Northern and Central California and the LAX Hub serving Southern California, most of our California courier locations are within a short drive of a waiting vehicle. The nightly line haul between the hubs lets a box collected in San Jose in the afternoon reach a dock in Los Angeles the next morning, and dispatch sees both hubs on one board, so a north to south job is planned as one trip.

In the hub metros, a driver is often there within the hour. Wider metros, the valley and the coast need more lead time. Dispatch confirms the pickup time on the call, and you can track the driver live from pickup to drop.
Do you offer scheduled routes at your California courier locations?
Yes. Many customers book daily or weekly routes between the same sites, such as lab pickups or store replenishment. Scheduled routes get a standing rate and a regular driver where possible.
What vehicles work out of your California courier locations?
Both hubs run cargo vans for parcels and documents, refrigerated vans for chilled and frozen items, and 16 to 26 ft liftgate box trucks for pallets and heavier freight.
