California Courier Routes
Our California courier routes link San Francisco, San Jose, Sacramento, Fresno, Los Angeles and San Diego. Same-day runs, scheduled line haul and refrigerated transport on every major lane in the state.
How our California courier routes work
Every lane on this page is a route we drive regularly, not a city we hand off to someone else. Marvin Transportation is based in Fremont, so the Bay Area lanes run out of our own yard, and the Central Valley and Southern California lanes run on the same dispatch system with the same drivers and vehicles.
Our California courier routes follow the main freight corridors: I-80 to Sacramento, CA-99 through the Central Valley, I-5 over the Grapevine to Los Angeles and San Diego, and US-101 along the coast. Dispatch picks the road for each run based on live traffic and closures, using Caltrans QuickMap before trucks leave.
Short lanes like San Francisco to San Jose or Los Angeles to San Diego can run several times a day. Long lanes like San Francisco to San Diego usually run overnight, with team-driven same-day expedites when a load cannot wait.

Which service fits your shipment
Same-day courier is a direct run with one vehicle and no other stops. It is the right choice for urgent parts, legal filings, specimens and anything that has to arrive today.
Line haul moves pallets and recurring freight on a set schedule, usually overnight. It costs less per pound than a dedicated same-day run and suits regular store, plant or warehouse replenishment.
Refrigerated transport keeps food, pharma and lab material in range for the whole drive, with temperature records you can hand to an auditor. Dedicated runs set a vehicle and driver aside for your freight on a daily or weekly schedule.
