Tracy is reached on I-205, I-580 and I-5, and the nearest air freight point is Stockton Metropolitan, about 20 miles northeast. Tracy is the first big distribution hub east of the Altamont Pass, and its fulfillment centers feed the whole Bay Area. Dispatch is open around the clock, so a pickup booked in the morning is normally on the road within the hour and closed out the same day with a signature or a photo at the door.
